Worth knowing about your tours on the Lake Constance

The further one travels, the less one knows.

Worth knowing: we won't carry you on hands ...... because you'll probably be too heavy for us. Instead, during our tours, we'll take care of the best way to travel, if you were not traveling along with your own vehicle. Please consider our tour packages as recommendationsIf, instead of a city tour, museum visit, or walk, you would rather prefer something else, we will quite spontaneously be planning an alternative for you. Maybe your day trip will take place on a rainy day and you would not prefer to be out there so much. Or maybe the day is very hot, and the Lake would attract for a swim ... Depending on how you are traveling, whether with a larger group in your own bus, with a smaller group in private cars or by train, we will offer our day and half-day tours with (your) own or public transport (ship, bus, train). By means of public transport, one will certainly reach the required aim, however, the current day tour may be modified as to time or organization. Although the traffic-infrastructure of the Lake Constance Region is very good, it is still possible that one or the other target could not be readily reached. Of course, in our planning, we take this into account and consult with you. We would be happy to organize a bus on site, to obtain necessary entrance tickets and to book good restaurants. Basically, we offer city tours in the visited cities. If you did not whish us to do this, we would be planning something else for you. We would be happy to combine your trips with walks, boat and canoe trips or prolonged church or museum visits. We are recommending a boat trip on the Lake Constance and/or the river Rhine. Therefore, whenever possible, we usually combine our trips with a larger or smaller waterway transport. We would be happy to help you to plan a ride on the historic paddle steamer "Hohentwiel" or the solar boat "Helio". For families with children ...... we might be planning - depending on weather conditions - child-specific destinations (for example, SEA LIFE Constance, Reptile House Unteruhldingen, Minimundus Meckenbeuren Alpenwildpark on the mount Pfänder near Bregenz, High-Rope Itinerary Immenstaad, Affenberg Salem, Ice Age Park Petersfels/Engen, Carnival Museum Schloss Langenstein, Pile-Dwelling Museum Unteruhldingen, School Museum Friedrichshafen, Adventure Playgrounds, Children's Adventure-and-Leisure Park Bregenzerwald, Plättlizoo Frauenfeld, various leisure and water parks in the region, etc., etc.). Please let us know the age of your children!

We'll take you up on the ice ...... because if you were lucky, the lake might freeze in winter to some degree, and you could skate on it. In the cold season, the Lake has a very special charm. In December, there are many attractive Christmas markets around the lake, or else you might enjoy a festive dinner on a passenger-boat trip. Or take a day skiing and sledding trip to the nearby Alps, and hit the slopes! |
